I am applying an abdominal wrap to reduce an umbilical hernia in two foals. This procedure used no medications (sedation). They are relaxed and do not object to this non-surgical procedure for umbilical hernia reduction. This cooperative behavior is typical for foals handled since birth, but unhandled foals may act differently. Always use caution.
